Demand Control Equipment
- Quality is ensured since K-MAC manufactures, installs and monitors the K-MAC Phase III Demand Controller.
- K-MAC will perform a field visit to determine how the K-MAC Phase III Demand Controller can reduce high billing demands, which will in turn reduce utility costs. Once installed, the K-MAC Phase III Demand Controller monitors and controls the amount of power used every 15 minutes. This ensures that certain predetermined set points, especially the Demand Level, are not exceeded.
- The K-MAC Phase III Demand Controller is hassle free since it is monitored and controller by K-MAC personnel. It will be invisible to you and your employees, but you will see future savings in your electric utility bills.
- All installations include a free two-month trial period.

Capacitors
- K-MAC will investigate your facility to accurately determine the capacitor sizing and specifications.
- A properly sized capacitor will be installed to reduce any utility Power Factor Multiplier (PFM) that can increases your utility bill charges.
- All installations result in less than a one-year payback.
- All installations include a free two-month trial period.

Utility Billing Analysis
- K-MAC will review and analyze your electric bills on a monthly basis to ensure that you facility’s bills have been prepared properly.
- K-MAC also reviews the sales tax exemption percentage on your utility bills to make certain it is correct. If not correct, K-MAC will investigate your facility to determine what percentage sales tax exemption applies. K-MAC can petition the State and request a refund for any overpaid sales tax within the last 36 months. This can be done for both gas and electric utilities.
- By determining if your facility is on the most cost-effective electric rate and if any riders may apply, K-MAC will help to further reduce your utility costs.
- A review of past bills may also uncover credits or adjustment that are due on your utility accounts. K-MAC will review past utility bills (last 24 months) to determine if any adjustment or credit could occur due to an estimated, corrected or multi-month bill.

Energy Supplier
- K-MAC can assist you in selecting a cost effective energy supplier for the Choice program for electricity.
- K-MAC can also assist in finding a natural gas supplier for your transportation gas needs.

Maintenance Service
- Periodic visits by K-MAC are provided to ensure operational integrity for one year after installation.
- Equipment is fully warranted for one year from day of job installation completion.
